Who we are
Hi! My name is Troy, and this is my single person ran business! What started out to be just a fun little hobby turned into people wanting me to capture moments in time for them! Thus Mt. Lewis Photography was born.
I lived in Battle Mountain, NV for majority of my life being employed by Nevada Gold Mines (former Newmont) as a process operator in the production of copper plates. I then decided to make the leap to Ely, NV as my family is building a cabin here. While being here, I tried getting back into a job I had in the past, wildland firefighting, but my life had a different path for me for reasons unsaid. This made me want to try photography full time rather than just a side hustle. I find myself going to rodeo events often and capturing those moments so no one else has to worry about it! Anything fast paced is fun for me. I love the challenge of capturing something fast and making it still forever.
